Just Start

Hello my friends.
This morning, the first thing I thought about when I woke up was making a podcast. The idea has been calling me for a while. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, but I keep hesitating.
Making a podcast sounds so exciting, right? But at the same time, I’m worried because I’m afraid I won’t have enough things to talk about.
But when I look deeper into that worry, I can see one of my biggest problems: overthinking.
Before I do almost anything, I tend to get lost in my thoughts. Sometimes that helps me think deeply and understand things more clearly. But most of the time, it slows me down. And sometimes it even makes life feel much harder than it really is.
Now, I understand myself well enough to recognize what is happening inside me. But when I think about my younger self, I remember how lost and sad I used to feel. I didn’t understand why my mind worked that way, so I was just struggling with it.
I just think I will to talk about this in another post or podcast episode, the different sides of overthinking, the difficult things I’ve faced because of it, and how I’ve slowly learned to live with it and move through it.
I don’t really want to be an overthinker. But at the same time, I’ve started to think that maybe some parts of who we are are already deeply built into us. Even before we’re born, our brains are developing in ways that influence how we see, feel, and think about the world. Maybe that is part of what we sometimes call “fate.”
So instead of constantly fighting myself, I’m trying to understand myself better.
And maybe making a podcast is one way to do that, to hear my own thoughts more clearly, to organize them, and to discover myself a little sooner.
So… just do it, my girl. Take it step by step. Be consistent.
For now, just do the things that make you feel alive and happy, my girl.
