A Normal Morning
11/08/2026
The alarm was set for 5:55 a.m., but my brain woke up even earlier. I felt like I hadn’t slept very well last night. One reason might be that my husband has just started a new job, so he needs to wake up at a different time now. And somehow, before going to sleep, I kept worrying that I might forget to set the alarm.
But after we got up, we had a nice morning together.
While I took a shower, my husband prepared lunch for both of us. We listened to Meditation on the Word of God, and then to one of my favorite podcasts, HIEU.TV.
I really admire him. His ideas, the experiences he uses as material, the way he expresses his thoughts, even the way he makes his PowerPoint slides, everything feels so clear. Yes, he is kind of my idol.
I want to create something like that too. I want to make videos where I can express my ideas and train myself to think more clearly. I want to turn the vision I have for my life into something real. And I don’t want everything to exist only in my head. I want to bring it out, put it into words, organize it, and make it clearer.
And maybe the most important thing I realized this morning is very simple: Action. Not one big action, just doing one small thing every day.
And maybe this is also something I need to understand if I really want to take action every day: where does my energy go?
Because sometimes, the work itself is not what makes me tired. But I’ve realized that sometimes we spend more time dealing with our emotions than actually doing the work.
I have a lot to do at my job, but when I can really focus, I feel so good, like I’m fully alive and full of energy. But if I have one bad conversation with someone, especially when I feel like they don’t understand me or they respond in a harsh way instead of a gentle one, it can affect me so much.
And wow… while I’m saying this, I suddenly see myself. I realize that sometimes I talk to my husband in the same way. Maybe I expect gentleness from other people, but I don’t always give that same gentleness to him. I feel a little sorry now. I love him.
Thank God for giving me such a beautiful gift today.
